Bucket????.....

Last night something truly amazing happened. Another incredible "is this happening moment" occured with Corey. For the past 2 weeks we (and when I say we I mean mostly my husband (I'm there for support)) :) have been spending tremondous amounts of time out at our house. Apparently the loss of sleep and crazy days have finally caught up to my dear sweet Corey. Last night Corey had a sleep walking experience. All of a sudden he rolled out of bed and walked into our closet. I sit up and am watching him thinking what in the heck is he doing. All of a sudden he says "where is the bucket?? I need that bucket!!" My reply "babe what bucket? there is no bucket we are at home now." I am truly trying so hard not to laugh at this time and then it gets better. So Corey scratches his head, walks out of the closet, and then to the edge of the bed and just stands there for a minute. Next thing I know he wips off his sweat bottoms and walks around to my side of the bed where I am now laughing my head off and laying down. He starts pushing me over to the other side of the bed until I finally lift the covers up and slide over so he can go right back to sleep. Which he did, in about 5 seconds he was sound asleep snoring like before. I honestly was in shock, this has never ever happened before. I am use to him talking in his sleep, which he does very often, but never has he done the whole sleep walking thing. I have to say that the greatest part of this whole story is when Corey woke up this morning turned over to me and said "babe where are my sweats??" hahaha I could not contain myself. I can honestly say it is little things and stories like this that get me through the day sometimes. It is also these sorts of things and memories that make life so great and wonderful!! I do however have one question "Where is the bucket???" :)

Is this really happening??.....................

I had an experience last night that to be quite honest I never thought I would experience. Well, okay so I thought I would experience it just not with my 22 year old husband, maybe our children. Last night my husband refused to get off of the couch and go to bed. So I didn't have any choice but than to drag him off the couch, down the hall, down the stairs, down the hall (again) and try to lift him up onto the bed. Of course he was very good at being limp and not helping (at all.) Corey thought he was so funny and just laughed, while I was getting so mad and frustrated but just kept thinking, this is so stupid, so all I could do was laugh. I seriously was thinking to myself "did i really sign up for this????"..........Um the answer to that would be a YES!! (what was i thinking) haha Why is it that the boy always hides his weird side while dating, I mean honestly it would make it a whole lot easier on us girls. :) (corey---why does my wife hade the little things? It makes it so hard to read her mind)No, even though my husband does do some quite amazing and different things like that I still do love him more than anything, even if he does make me drag him to bed. :)
Changing the subject today was a great day at church. It was our ward conference and all of the speaker/talks were amazing. I learned something from every one of them. I would like to leave a quote that stuck out to me and really put alot of things into perspective. We all go through trials some bigger than others but in the end this quote stands true.
"The lord compenstes the faithful for EVERY loss..... every tear today will eventually be returned a hundred fold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude!"

"Um there is going to be a WrEcK"

So today was just a funny day. I witnessed a car accident and then amazingly enough almost got in a car accident myself. My best friend Shaylee and I work together and so we usually try to go to lunch once a week. Well today was our day for lunch so we went to our usual "Gandies". As we were pulling in there were two cars that just happened to be backing up at the exact same time. As we sat there I looked over at Shaylee and said "um there is going to be a wreck." Shaylees reply "oh my heck there is." Not more than 3 seconds after our remarks the two cars backed right into eachother. Me and Shaylee sat there with our mouths wide open and in amazement as we watched these two cars rear end each other. How did these two people not see each other and why didn't someone stop. Better yet why didn't me and Shaylee honk the horn and try to help them out a little???? haha, we are still trying to figure that one out. It was just one of those things that was in slow motion and you really didn't know what to do. Yes, it is not funny and it really is unfortunate that the two men got in the little wreck, but me and Shaylee could not help but laugh, and wonder where we were going to park as they blocked the way. Luckily there wasn't a lot of damage, if any, and all drivers were okay and actually really nice to each other :) What can I say accidents happen.
Well to make things better we were pulling into work and this big truck just about hit us. Shaylee grabbed my leg and yell "Brittnee car" I slammed on my brakes and the truck just kept on going with no hesitation he didn't even see us!! Luckily nothing happen, because that would not have gone over to smooth with the husband.
I can honestly say there is never a dull day in the life of Brittnee Hansen :)

tHe HoUsE!!!! :)

So I finally decided to put some pictures up of my cute house!! :) I am so excited for my house to be done, not only so i can just have a house of my own, but also because then I will actually get to see my husband more than just a couple hours a day. Corey has been doing a lot of work on the house. He did all the windows, the insulation and even some pipe work. Therefore Corey will go straight from work out to the house to do even more work. I truly do appreciate all that he has done on the house, he is incredible!! Thanks babe! Then when the time comes he will lay the tile and we will paint :) I am actually excited for the painting part!!
This past Saturday my amazing husband left the house at 6:15 a.m., he told me to meet him at the house at 8:30 a.m. and we didn't leave the house until 10:00 that night! Corey did all the insulation in the house!! He only took one break and it was because I was both hungry and had to use the restroom which of course we don't have so we had to go into town. Corey's lunch choice was (of course) 2 large hot and ready pepperoni pizza's from little ceasars, (i would"ve preferred subway but.....) we found out that they have a drive through, very exciting for my dear husband :). So needless to say it was an extremely long and tireing day.

Our house! :)

Corey hard at work!

The reason for this picture is basically so you can see the mask. I put one of these masks on and it lasted for about 1 min. Let me tell you about these mask, 1st of all they are so uncomfortable and 2nd of all they truly do smell like disgusting fish!! I could hardly stand it. So I give props to my husband for wearing it pretty much all day and to any others who have to wear them.

This is all of the extra insulation that I had to sweep up! Corey makes fun of me cause he doesn't think that it is that big of a pile but when you had to keep sweeping that all day cause it kept getting blown around everywhere it made the pile seem HUGE!!! Plus is doesn't help that I am a little OCD about cleaning, so the fact that it is so messy at the house drives me crazy, then to see all of this everywhere, ya pretty much drove me insane! Corey just kept laughing at me and saying "babe this is a construction site it is going to be dirty and it really is okay" Unfortunately that wasn't very comforting haha but thanks babe I still love you!! :)

Even though it was an extremely long day it was great to be able to spend it with Corey!! It just makes everything that much better and more worth it when we get to do it together.

*So thanks babe for all that you've done on the house and for all that you do for me in general I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!

***Also thank you to Shad and Dustin for coming out and helping us!! We appreciate it! :)

Happy Birthday Boy!!!

On Monday, October 5th, my lil bro turned 10 years old.!! It is so crazy. Time goes by way to fast. I can remember going to the dr.s with my mom and family to find out if this guy would be a boy or girl. My older brother Brigg started crying when he found out that he would have a little brother atlast!! Bronson has been such a blessing in our family. He has such a great personality and can make anyone laugh and make anyones bad day turn to good. Bronson is also an amazing athlete! He is the star quarter back, the best pitcher you've ever seen, and a great basketball player. Bronson will be the one to make in to some professional ball team. Besides all of these things, Bronson is probably the sweetest boy you'll ever meet. He has such a huge and soft heart and would do anything for anyone. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRONS!! I love you so much and I am so grateful for you. Thank you for being such a great little brother and also friend. You are the greatest!! P.S. you smell like a beaver!! :) I love you poop!!!!
